Booking and payment

A 30% deposit secures your date. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the experience.

Payment may be made by Wise, bank transfer, Alipay, or WeChat Pay. Available payment methods will be confirmed before booking.

Service scope and your host

Every Bespoke Beijing experience is personally designed and hosted by Lao Wang for no more than five guests. The confirmed scope may be a private day in Beijing, a full day beyond the city, or a multi-day hosted stay.

Lao Wang remains responsible for the overall direction and hosting. For a multi-day hosted stay, a licensed English-speaking specialist may join a focused part when agreed in advance. Specialist services and fees are included only when explicitly listed in the final written confirmation.

Multi-day hosted stays

For a multi-day stay, the 30% deposit secures the confirmed hosted dates and begins the detailed stay-design process. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the arrival welcome or first hosted day, whichever occurs first.

The quoted price covers only the hosted dates, hours, transport, specialist sessions, and arrangements listed in the final written confirmation. Each standard hosted day includes up to eight hours.

Personal arrival and departure

One personal arrival welcome and one departure farewell are included only when confirmed for guests travelling together through Beijing Capital International Airport or Beijing Daxing International Airport.

Separate flights, multiple arrivals, unusually early or late times, major flight changes, larger vehicles, special luggage, or hotels outside the agreed area may require a revised arrangement or additional cost. Normal airline delays are accommodated where reasonably possible.

Vehicles and specialists

Private vehicles and drivers serve the routes and hours listed in the final confirmation; they are not available on a 24-hour or on-call basis. Overtime, special vehicles, unusually long journeys, and added routes must be agreed separately.

For a multi-day hosted stay, a licensed English-speaking specialist may join a confirmed part where deeper interpretation adds value. Specialist fees are separate unless explicitly included in the final written confirmation.

Cancellation by the guest

Cancellations made 7 days or more before the experience will receive a refund of all payments made, including the deposit, less any non-refundable third-party costs and actual payment-processing, currency-conversion, intermediary-bank, or refund-transfer fees.

Cancellations made between 48 hours and 7 days before the experience may be transferred once to another available date within 12 months.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the experience, as well as no-shows, are non-refundable.

Changes and unexpected conditions

Admission availability, weather, traffic, and unexpected site closures may affect a day in Beijing. When this happens, I will adjust the route thoughtfully and offer the closest suitable alternative.

One reasonable revision to the overall stay direction is included before the final arrangement is confirmed. Changes to dates, group size, hotel location, airports, hosted days, or journeys beyond central Beijing may require a new quotation.

If Bespoke Beijing cancels the experience, all payments made will be refunded in full, and Bespoke Beijing will cover any refund-transfer fees.

What is included

The relevant product page and final written confirmation define what is included. Private Beijing and Beyond the Great Wall include the vehicle arrangements stated on their pages. Admissions, meals, cable cars, specialists, and other third-party costs are included only when explicitly listed.

Third-party bookings

Bookings made through Tripadvisor, Viator, or another third-party platform are subject to that platform’s payment, cancellation, and refund policies.
